Blurb: When a dead body is found on the 6:57 train from Penn Station, Mick Doran, former boxer, obsessive hypochondriac, and senior detective for the Metropolitan Transit Police is called to investigate. Mick's career hangs in the balance.  His bosses are trying to force him into retirement, especially after the second victim is found. Taking on the case requires Mick to work with his ex-wife’s new husband.  As the case gains notoriety, his world diminishes.
Politicians, MTA executives, local police forces and the families of the victims cry for justice. Who is behind the murders of the innocent commuters?  It takes a man with years of experience on the Long Island train rails to track down this killer. 

Killer Commute is approximately 85,000 words. 


Bio: Michael Robert Gordon was born in the same town as Walt Whitman.  His short stories have been published in small literary magazines both in print and on the web.  He has worked as a merchant marine, a freelance journalist, and a salesman. He maintains a blog.  His first novel, Acid Tree Park was published by Monk Press.
